Subscription Terms

These terms describe the monthly and annual Loomtale plans. Payment availability is shown on the Subscription page. While checkout is closed, no paid subscription can be started through this offer.

The intended sales territories for this English-language plan are the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. A listed territory is not a promise that checkout is already open there. Any local availability restriction must be clearly disclosed before purchase.

1. Seller and access

The seller is Piqle inc., a corporation incorporated in Delaware, United States (Delaware file number 2644967), at 919 North Market Street, Suite 950, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States. Contact info@piqle.io or +1 (813) 535-9353.

A subscription provides browser access to published episodes from Episode 2 onward across the English catalogue. Episode 1 of each available story is free. Previewed or “coming soon” stories are not included as delivered content; no fixed publication schedule is promised.

An account, compatible browser and internet connection are required. The service is digital access, not physical goods or permanent ownership of content. The Terms of Service govern accounts and permitted use.

2. Price and billing period

The standard price is US$9.99 per calendar month or US$99 per calendar year, in US dollars. An annual plan is charged in full once a year, not in monthly installments. Before payment, checkout must show the complete amount payable, any applicable taxes, the recurring interval, the seller and how to cancel. No undisclosed mandatory service fee may be added after confirmation. Your bank may separately apply conversion or foreign-transaction fees under your agreement with it.

The initial paid period begins when the payment provider confirms successful payment. Each successful renewal starts the next billing period of the selected month or year; the account or provider's customer portal shows exact dates. If the corresponding billing day does not exist, including February 29 in a non-leap year, the provider uses the last day of that month.

A free first episode is not a free trial that converts to a paid plan. No payment card is required for it. Introductory offers, if introduced, must state their duration, end date, future price and cancellation terms separately before acceptance.

Promotion codes and founder pricing

Enter a valid code on the Subscription page before payment. After applying it, review the initial charge, the charge for each renewal and the discount duration. We retain these amounts with your affirmative authorization. Codes cannot be combined or applied retroactively to paid periods.

When the offer says that the discount applies to all renewals, the accepted founder price remains attached to that subscription. Closing the code to new subscribers does not remove an existing discount. Starting a new subscription after termination requires a currently valid code; a failed payment alone does not authorize an increased price.

For a first-period-only discount, the standard charge from the second billing period is shown before payment and specifically authorized in the payment schedule. This does not authorize any other price increase. Applicable cancellation and refund rights remain unchanged; refunds are based on the amount actually paid.

3. Purchase and delivery

You review and accept these terms, separately authorize automatic renewal and confirm the amount using the payment page. Payment is handled by Stripe; available payment methods are shown at checkout. Loomtale does not request a full card number or security code in support messages.

Published paid episodes become available in the purchasing account after server-side payment confirmation. A redirect back to the site alone does not establish payment. If charged without access, refresh your subscription status and contact support before trying to pay again. There is no shipping or physical-delivery fee.

A retainable purchase confirmation must identify the plan, charge, renewal terms and cancellation method. Payment receipts and renewal notices are sent using the account or checkout email as applicable. Keep these messages for your records.

4. Automatic renewal

The selected monthly or annual plan continues until cancelled. Existing subscriptions keep their previously accepted price and billing interval; choosing another plan does not silently change a current subscription. Only an affirmative, separate authorization permits recurring charges; it must not be preselected or bundled with marketing consent. The amount and next billing date are visible before you agree and in the subscription management area.

We provide legally required renewal reminders, annual subscription notices and advance notices of material changes. If the recurring price increases, we seek fresh agreement before charging the higher amount. Without it, we must not bill the new amount. No new trial or promotional billing terms apply silently.

A failed payment may interrupt paid access. We do not treat unpaid future periods as automatically earned service debt. Any permitted provider retry or collection process must follow the disclosed billing terms and your valid authorization; cancellation stops new renewal attempts.

5. Cancel future renewal

Use the online subscription management or customer portal linked from Subscription. Cancellation must be available without a mandatory telephone call, survey or retention offer. If you cannot access the account, contact info@piqle.io or +1 (813) 535-9353 to identify the subscription and stop future renewal.

Cancellation normally preserves access until the current paid period ends and prevents new renewals. We provide confirmation. If a transaction had already been submitted before cancellation, contact support for review; it does not re-authorize later charges. Logging out, removing a bookmark or clearing browser data does not cancel the plan.

Cancellation of future renewal is different from requesting immediate termination and a refund. Both are available as described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

6. Refunds and statutory withdrawal

Under the proposed customer refund policy, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the first subscription purchase. Opening or reading an episode does not remove that promise. Following that period, immediate termination qualifies for a proportionate refund of unused prepaid time. This does not reduce any greater statutory right.

Duplicate, unauthorized or incorrectly retained payments and paid access never supplied are reviewed for correction and refund. There is no blanket “all sales final” restriction. A statutory withdrawal right, including any applicable extended period, remains available. We do not rely on a presumed waiver based on reading content or accepting general terms.

7. Changes, availability and disputes

If paid service is discontinued or access materially reduced, we give appropriate notice and provide applicable remedies for undelivered prepaid access. Security restrictions do not invalidate a legitimate refund claim.

Contact the seller above about a charge or service issue. You retain mandatory consumer remedies, competent courts and the ability to contact a payment provider or regulator. These terms do not guarantee that every jurisdiction or payment method is supported; supported sales territories must be disclosed before checkout opens.
